BC Travel Concierge operates as an Independent Destination Liaison — and if you haven't encountered that term before, the distinction matters.
Unlike a travel agent, I don't earn commissions from suppliers. My clients pay a flat planning fee for my services, which means I have no financial incentive to recommend one business over another. When I send a traveller your way, it's because your experience is the right fit for that person — full stop.
This also means I approach supplier relationships differently than a traditional travel agent would. I'm not negotiating rates or expecting preferential pricing. I'm looking to understand what you offer, who it's best suited for, and whether there's a genuine match with the travellers I work with.
Who I Work With
Accommodation Providers
From distinctive lodges and boutique properties to owner-operated cabins and inns — I'm looking for hosts who bring genuine care to the guest experience and a strong sense of place to where they operate.
Guides & Experience Operators
Small-group tours, private guides, and specialist operators across fishing, skiing, hiking, wildlife, wellness, culinary experiences, and the arts. I take the time to understand your style and expertise so that the travellers I refer are genuinely well-matched.
Local Proprietors & Artisans
Restaurants, producers, makers, and community businesses that give travellers a reason to slow down and connect with a place. Craft beverage producers, specialty food providers, local artists — the kinds of businesses that define the character of a community rather than just serve it.
What Working Together Looks Like
There's no formal agreement required to be part of my network. If I believe a traveller would genuinely benefit from what you offer, I'll recommend you — and I'll provide enough context about that traveller that you can make an informed decision about whether it's a good fit on your end too. The goal is a referral that works well for everyone.

Valuing genuine hospitality, thoughtful service, and pride of place.
Great hospitality is about more than amenities — it’s about creating space for real human connection.
